RYAN STEELE THURSDAY LEAN: PANTHERS/BUC'S

Carolina Panthers (-7) VS. TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS:  Boy things are really hitting the gutter for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and head coach Greg Schiano.  Doug Marting is out anywhere from a month to the season which means there will be a rookie QB in Mike Glennon and a rookie RB in Mike James starting.  Meanwhile the Panthers are playing their best football of the season right now and Cam Newton is hot.  This is a big spread for the Thursday night game since the home team has covered at a very high clip but you have to really be grasping at straws to find anything to recommend with Tampa Bay.  Yield the points and watch something else.  THE PICK:  Carolina Panthers (-7)

RYAN STEELE THURSDAY NIGHT NFL LEAN: ARIZONA/SEATTLE

Seattle Seahawks (-6) VS. ARIZONA CARDINALS:  Yup it was between these two teams last season when the Seattle Seahawks hung over 50 points on the Arizona Cardinals in pitching a shutout.  Be that as it may, the Cardinals are actually in the better spot tonight as the home team (and an underdog no less) for the Thursday night game.  The home team has covered at a 60 percent clip since the NFL went to the Thursday night schedule and the Seahawks are not a very good road team as you know.  I wouldn't lay money on this as there are conflicting angles here but the Cards have the overall edge in those betting scenarios.  THE PICK:  Arizona Cardinals (+6.5)

RYAN STEELE'S WEEK 6 NFL PICKS AND BEST BETS

By Ryan Steele

Hard to believe it is already NFL Week 6.  4 winning weeks in the books out of five has us in firm position to continue the money making.  Let's see what I got for you this week.

Philadelphia Eagles (-1.5) VS. Tampa Bay Buccaneers:  Rough game as the Buc's will once again go with rookie Mike Glennon, while the Eagles trot out backup Nick Foles in place of the injured Michael Vick.  Foles showed some nice things in leading two late touchdown drives to beat the Giants last week and the Buc's offense has not shot keeping up with Chip Kelly's system no matter who is under center.  THE PICK:  Philadelphia Eagles (-1.5)

MINNESOTA VIKINGS (-2.5) VS. Carolina Panthers:  Matt Cassel gets his second straight start off his winning season debut in London two weeks ago.  Obviously the big news is the horrific story involving the death of star RB Adrian Peterson's son.  I won't go into the analyses much out of respect for what happened.  I like the Vikings.  THE PICK:  Minnesota Vikings (-2.5)

Detroit Lions (-2.5) VS. CLEVELAND BROWNS:  The big story is whether or not star Lions WR Calvin Johnson plays.  He is currently listed as a game-time decision and the Lions offense was pretty awful without him last week.  If Johnson does play than the Lions are the pick.  If not than I pass.  THE PICK:  Detroit Lions (-2.5) if Calvin Johnson plays, if not than PASS

Green Bay Packers (-2.5) VS. BALTIMORE RAVENS:*****THIS GAME IS ONE OF RYAN STEELE'S BEST BETS FOR THE WEEKS AND IS FOR SUBSCRIBERS ONLY.******

HOUSTON TEXANS (-7.5) VS. St. Louis Rams:******THIS GAME IS ONE OF RYAN STEELE'S BEST BETS FOR THE WEEK AND IS FOR SUBSCRIBERS ONLY.*****

Cincinnati Bengals (-7) VS. BUFFALO BILLS:  Tons of home underdogs this week.  The Bills are so desperate at QB than they will roll with practice squad passer Thaddeus Lewis.  Wow.  Can't go in any direction than Cincy.  You got brass ones if you go the other direction.  THE PICK:  Cincinnati Bengals (-7)

KANSAS CITY CHIEFS (-8.5) VS. Oakland Raiders:******THIS GAME IS ONE OF RYAN STEELE'S BEST BETS FOR THE WEEKS AND IS FOR SUBSCRIBERS ONLY.*****

NEW YORK JETS (-2.5) VS. Pittsburgh Steelers:******THIS GAME IS ONE OF RYAN STEELE'S BEST BETS FOR THE WEEK AND IS FOR SUBSCRIBERS ONLY.*****

SEATTLE SEAHAWKS (-13) VS. Tennessee Titans:  Ryan Fitzpatrick has played well since taking over for the injured Jake Locker and he almost pulled one out against the undefeated Chiefs last week.  The Chiefs defense has been arguably the best unit in the NFL this season and so Seattle will not make Fitzpatrick quiver in his cleats.  This is a lot of points for a Titans team with weapons.  THE PICK:  Tennessee Titans (+13)

DENVER BRONCOS (-26.5) VS. Jacksonville Jaguars:******THIS GAME IS ONE OF RYAN STEELE'S BEST BETS FOR THE WEEK AND IS FOR SUBSCRIBERS ONLY.******

NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS (-2.5) VS. New Orleans Saints:  Great game here and it is one with a classic bounceback scenario for the New England Patriots.  The Saints have been locked in all season but the Pats will be ready for this one off their brutal loss to the Bengals last week.  THE PICK:  New England Patriots (-2.5)

SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS (-10.5) VS. Arizona Cardinals:  The Cards have actually won two in a row despite continued horrid play by QB Carson Palmer.  The 49ers defense is back to their dominant ways the last two weeks and they should make Palmer look silly.  The true Cardinals are about to be revealed.  THE PICK:  San Francisco 49ers (-10.5)

DALLAS COWBOYS (-5.5) VS. Washington Redskins:  This is a series the Cowboys have done very well in over the years and they are in the much better position on national television off a tough loss to the Denver Broncos when they almost sprung the upset.  The Redskins meanwhile have a defense even worse than Denver's so another monster game from Tony Romo is likely.  THE PICK:  Dallas Cowboys (-5.5)

SAN DIEGO CHARGERS (-1.5) VS. Indianapolis Colts:  Tough sledding here for the Colts who come off a huge win over the Seattle Seahawks and than have to travel west for a Monday nighter.  Chargers passing attack matches up well with Indy's shoddy secondary.  THE PICK:  San Diego Chargers (-1.5)

Good luck and take home the dough.

RYAN STEELE NFL WEEK 6 AND COLLEGE FOOTBALL WEEK 7 BEST BETS PACKAGE READY TO GO

By Ryan Steele

Hey gang.  NFL Week 6 Best Bet package ready to go as I come off a 4-1 smashdown of the line n Week 5.  I am now a terrific 16-9 with my NFL package this season and in Week 5 I hit Best Bet winners on the San Francsico 49ers (-5) over the Houston Texans, the Philadelphia Eagles (+1.5) over the New York Giants, the New Orleans Saints (-1) over the Chicago Bears, and the Indianapolis Colts (+2.5).  The only loss was with the Tennessee Titans getting 2 against the Kansas City Chiefs.  Five more BEST BETS ready to go for Week 6 in the NFL.  Use the BUY NOW tab to purchase.

As far as college football is concerned, had my first losing week of the season in Week 6 with a shoddy 4-6 mark for the day.  It happens.  My season long record is still 25-15.  Got a nine pick card ready for college football Week 7.  Get on board.

RYAN STEELE'S WEEK 5 NFL PICKS

Week 5 Best Bets have been ready to go since Thursday so be sure to get on board.  3 winning weeks out of 4 thus far.

Seattle Seahawks (-2.5) VS. INDIANAPOLIS COLTS:*****THIS GAME IS ONE OF RYAN STEELE'S BEST BETS FOR THE WEEKS AND IS FOR SUBSCRIBERS ONLY.***

New England (-1.5) VS. CINCINNATI BENGALS:  Surprised to see the Patriots underdogs for the second week in a row.  This is especially true in a must-have game for the Bengals who are fighting for their season.  Pats without Stevan Ridley and the Bengals very tough on the run game.  Trends going in both ways here but have tough time seeing the Bengals sticking close against Tom Brady who is getting a big weapon back in Danny Amendola.  THE PICK:  New England Patriots (-1.5)

MIAMI DOLPHINS (-2.5) VS. Baltimore Ravens:  Very tough one to call given that the Ravens will be primed to pick themselves up off the canvas after the spanking they received at the hands of the Buffalo Bills last week.  However the Dolphins are in the same boat after getting embarrassed on Monday night football versus the New Orleans Saints.  Dolphins have the better situation going in their favor, qualifying for a 37-20-2 ATS slight home favorite angle off a loss against a non-division for.  THE PICK:  Miami Dolphins (-2.5)

ST. LOUIS RAMS (-11.5) VS. Jacksonville Jaguars:  Can't ever pick the Jaguars no matter what the line is.  I am not in love with this Rams team though so that keeps me from making it a Best Bet.  THE PICK:  St. Louis Rams (-11.5)

Kansas City Chiefs (-2.5) VS. TENNESSEE TITANS:*****THIS GAME IS ONE OF RYAN STEELE'S BEST BETS FOR THE WEEK AND IS FOR SUBSCRIBERS ONLY.*****

New Orleans Saints (-1) VS. CHICAGO BEARS:*****THIS GAME IS ONE OF RYAN STEELE'S BEST BETS FOR THE WEEK AND IS FOR SUBSCRIBERS ONLY.*****

NEW YORK GIANTS (-1.5) VS. Philadelphia Eagles:******THIS GAME IS ONE OF RYAN STEELE'S BEST BETS FOR THE WEEK AND IS FOR SUBSCRIBERS ONLY.******

Carolina Panthers (-1.5) VS. ARIZONA CARDINALS:  Flat out Carson Palmer really has not made much of a positive difference for the Cardinals and they got incredibly lucky to win last week against a Buc's team starting a rookie QB in his first outing.  Cam Newton and company had a week off to recharge the batteries and coming back against a mediocre opponent such as Arizona is as good a transition back into action as you can get.  THE PICK:  Carolina Panthers (-1.5)

Denver Broncos (-7) VS. DALLAS COWBOYS:  Peyton Manning has yet to throw and interception and has been absolutely unstoppable in piloting what could be a record-setting offense.  The Cowboys self-destructed against the San Diego Chargers last week and surely have to be second-guessing their ability again.  Tony Romo has been very good but unless the Cowboys start running the football again, the Broncos will be too much.  THE PICK:  Denver Broncos (-7)

SAN FRANCISCO 49ers (-5) VS. Houston Texans:****THIS GAME IS ONE OF RYAN STEELE'S BEST BETS FOR THE WEEK AND IS FOR SUBSCRIBERS ONLY.*****

San Diego Chargers (-4.5) OAKLAND RAIDERS:  Sorry not buying the Chargers yet and can't back them as a road favorite of more than 3 against a division opponent who is getting their passer back.  Raiders have played this serious tough in the past and should hang tight.  THE PICK:  Oakland Raiders (+4.5)

ATLANTA FALCONS (-10) VS. New York Jets:  Falcons should run away with this one as they surely are fighting for their lives already this season off a brutal loss to the New England Patriots.  Also the Jets will be without Santonio Holmes again which won't help rookie QB Geno Smith avoid more turnovers which have ruined his initial month in the league.  THE PICK:  Atlanta Falcons (-10)

RYAN STEELE LEAN WINNER ON CLEVELAND LAST NIGHT

By Ryan Steele

It was scary there for a bit after Brian Hoyer went out injured early in the first half but my opinion lean on the Browns came through in a 37-24 win.  I have FIVE big best bets for Sunday to help build on my 12-8 prime play record this season.  Use the BUY NOW tab to the right on the homepage to purchase.

College football Week 6 is ready to rock and roll as well.  Four winning weeks out of five to start the season as the winning keeps on coming.  A 9 pick package awaits for Week 6 subscribers.

RYAN STEELE'S THURSDAY NIGHT BROWNS/BILLS LEAN

By Ryan Steele

NFL Week 5 BEST BETS are up and ready for purchase.  Use the BUY NOW tab on the homepage to purchase.  After a 2-3 mark in Week 3, we got back on the winning track in Week 4 with a 3-2 record bringing the season mark to 12-8.  Three winning weeks out of four lead into our lean for Thursday night.

CLEVELAND BROWNS (-4) VS. Buffalo Bills:  Bills due for a letdown here after their thrilling win over the Super Bowl-defending champion Baltimore Ravens last week.  They have a short week coming off that game and meet an upstart Browns team that is playing with a ton of confidence after winning two out of two with Brian Hoyer under center.  The extra point scares me but the Bills are only 3-11-1 their last 15 off a cover the week before.  THE PICK"  Cleveland Browns (-4)

Saturday, September 28, 2013

RYAN STEELE'S WEEK 4 NFL PICKS, BEST BETS, AND OPINIONS

After passing on the Thursday night game, here is how I see Week 4 unfolding.  Also GAME OF THE MONTH goes among the Best Bets package!!!!

Baltimore Ravens (-3) VS. BUFFALO BILLS:  Ravens defense is back on track after that ugly opener versus Denver.  Bills meanwhile have to be a bit shaken after the beating they got at the hands of the New York Jets defense last week.  Can't see Joe Flacco losing to a rookie in E.J. Manuel.  THE PICK:  Baltimore Ravens (-3)

Indianapolis Colts (-7.5) VS. JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS:  Some are calling this a trap game which on paper it is after the Colts beat the San Francisco 49ers last week and welcome Seattle the week after this one.  Still you can't possibly back the Jaguars under any circumstances right now given how epic their futility is and should continue to be.  THE PICK:  Indianapolis Colts (-7.5)

Seattle Seahawks (-2.5) VS. HOUSTON TEXANS:*****THIS GAME IS ONE OF RYAN STEELE'S BEST BETS FOR WEEK 4.  USE THE BUY NOW TAB ON THE HOMEPAGE TO PURCHASE.*****

Cincinnati Bengals (-4) VS. CLEVELAND BROWNS:*******THIS GAME IS ONE OF RYAN STEELE'S BEST BETS FOR WEEK 4.  USE THE BUY NOW TAB ON THE HOMEPAGE TO PURCHASE.*****

DETROIT LIONS (-3) VS. Chicago Bears:  Here is what is interesting about this game.  The Lions are well into the plus range in yardage differential while the 3-0 Bears are in the negative.   That means that the Bears have gotten more than a little luck to be undefeated and it came be argued that the Lions are the better team.  Like the price here at home.  THE PICK:  Detroit Lions (-3)

Pittsburgh Steelers (-1.5) VS. Minnesota Vikings:  This is the slop the NFL is sending over to promote the game in Europe.  Not sure why the league thinks the NFL needs promotion since it is worth billions of dollars and its games lead the rating every week.  Anyways Matt Cassel is in at QB for the Vikes which could give them a spark but the Steelers are the much better team on paper.  No thank you.  THE PICK:  PASS

TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS (-2.5) VS. Arizona Cardinals:  The Buc's go with rookie Mike Glennon who could be without both starting receivers in Mike Williams and Vincent Jackson as both are injured.  The Cardinals have once again been pathetic despite the arrival of Carson Palmer.  The points look enticing but I wouldn't touch this one either.  THE PICK:  Arizona Cardinals (+2.5)

KANSAS CITY CHIEFS (-4) VS. New York Giants:  Here is the thing.  This is a perfect time to bet on the Giants.  The line is begging the public to bet on Big Blue.  However you can't possibly go with a team that is missing three fifths of their starting offense line against the team that leads the NFL in sacks.  This could get ugly quick.  THE PICK:  Kansas City Chiefs (-4)

TENNESSEE TITANS (-3.5) VS. New York Jets:  I would never feel comfortable laying points with the Titans no matter how solid their start was.  The extra half point is trouble against a very stout New York Jets defense that surely can keep this one a game.  THE PICK:  New York Jets (+3.5)

Washington Redskins (-3) VS. OAKLAND RAIDERS:  Shocked to see the winless Redskins a road favorite against a 1-2 Raiders team.  Yes Terrell Pryor is likely out with a concussion but still this line is wonky.  Matt Flynn is the real wild card in this one as we don't have enough of a book on him in meaningful games to make a judgment on his ability.  THE PICK:  Washington Redskins (-3)

DENVER BRONCOS (-11) VS. Philadelphia Eagles:  Interesting line here as offense will be flowing out of every corner of this one.  The Eagles must scrap the Chip Kelly system at least for this week as putting the defense out there that much against Peyton Manning and company is a recipe for major failure in this game.  Could go either way with this one but Eagles a bit too mistake-prone for this one to stay competitive into the second half.  THE PICK:  Denver Broncos (-11)

Dallas Cowboys (-2) VS. SAN DIEGO CHARGERS:******THIS GAME IS ONE OF RYAN STEELE'S BEST BETS FOR THE WEEK.  USE THE BUY NOW TAB ON THE HOMEPAGE TO PURCHASE.******

ATLANTA FALCONS (-2) VS. New England Patriots:******THIS GAME IS ONE OF RYAN STEELE'S BEST BETS FOR THE WEEK.  USE THE BUY NOW TAB ON THE HOMEPAGE TO PURCHASE.******

NEW ORLEANS SAINTS (-6.5) VS. Miami Dolphins:******THIS GAME IS ONE OF RYAN STEELE'S BEST BETS FOR THE WEEK.  USE THE BUY NOW TAB ON THE HOMEPAGE TO PURCHASE.******

RYAN STEELE'S THURSDAY NIGHT OPINION: 49ERS/RAMS

San Francisco 49ers (-3) VS. ST. LOUIS RAMS:  For the first time since the season began no BEST BET on the Thursday night game.  However as far as opinion is concerned, both teams are in desperate need of a win and the home run has been on a crazy good run in covering the Thursday night game.  The oddsmakers clearly want you to take San Francisco since the line is only -3 and no doubt it is tempting.  The 49ers are also 0-5 ATS their last five games in the division and 1-5 ATS  in their last six against the Rams and 1-4 ATS in St. Louis.  However I can't see the 49ers losing three in a row.  Looks like a classic push.  Either way I wouldn't put any dough on this.  THE PICK:  PASS

RYAN STEELE POSTS 2-3 MARK FOR NFL WEEK 3, 8-2 SMACKDOWN IN COLLEGE FOOTBALL WEEK 4

By Ryan Steele

Hey it happens.  Can't have 17 winning weeks out of 17.  Took a slight loss for Week 3 in going only 2-3 but it wasn't 1-4 and it wasn't 0-5.  We still are way in the money for the season at 9-5 and looking for more in Week 4.  After winning the Thursday night BEST BET on Kansas City, I hit on only the Carolina Panthers (-1) Sunday while dropping three on the St. Louis Rams (+3.5), Tampa Bay Buccaneers (+7), and the self-destructing Pittsburgh Steelers (+2.5).  Pittsburgh would have surely won that game if they didn't continually shoot themselves in the foot but that is gambling.  Anyways be sure to sign up for Week 4 as we get back on the gravy train.

However the flip side was an absolute annihilation of the college football spread Saturday to the tune of an 8-2 mark.  Yup that's right:  8 and freakin' 2.  That's mucho money for those of you lucky enough to be on board for Week 4.  I am killing it in college football this season and Week 5 looks just as nice.  Be sure to use the BUY NOW tab to sign up for Week 5's picks.

RYAN STEELE'S NFL WEEK 3 PICKS AND BEST BETS

By Ryan Steele

Already chalked up a BEST BET winner Thursday night on Kansas City (+3) and looking to further improve my already great 8-3 mark for the season with four more pick prime plays this week.  Here is the rest of the slate with some free leans thrown in.

WASHINGTON REDSKINS (-2) VS. Detroit Lions:  Man have the Redskins stunk it up this season.  You almost can't lay money on them no matter the situation given how dreadful they have been.  As far as where I would lean, the desperation factor is clearly in the Redskins' corner since this pretty much is their season here as an 0-3 mark will doom them before September is through.  The Lions also don't have a good history of playing on the road either as they struggled way too much against a mediocre Vikings team in the opener.  THE PICK:  Washington Redskins (-2)

CAROLINA PANTHERS (-1) VS. New York Giants:******THIS GAME IS ONE OF RYAN STEELE'S BEST BETS FOR THE WEEK AND IS FOR SUBSCRIBERS ONLY.*****

NEW ORLEANS SAINTS (-7) VS. Arizona Cardinals:  The knee-jerk reaction here is to side with New Orleans since Arizona is traveling east for an early game.  However the Cards have a solid recent history as an underdog or 8 or less as shown by a 12-4 mark ATS.  The Saints defense will have a tough time with the three receiver element the Cards can present in Larry Fitzgerald, Michael Floyd, and Andre Roberts.  THE PICK:  Arizona Cardinals (+7)

DALLAS COWBOYS (-3.5) VS. St. Louis Rams:******THIS GAME IS ONE OF RYAN STEELE'S BEST BETS FOR THE WEEK AND IS FOR SUBSCRIBERS ONLY.*****

NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS (-7) VS. Tampa Bay Buccaneers:******THIS GAME IS ONE OF RYAN STEELE'S BEST BETS FOR THE WEEK AND IS FOR SUBSCRIBERS ONLY.*****

MINNESOTA VIKINGS (-6) VS. Cleveland Browns:  Boy this is a major sucker bet here as no one in their right mind would take the Browns here after dealing away Trent Richardson and now having to go with Brian Hoyer at QB in place of Brandon Weeden.  The Vikings are nothing to write home about though and the one strength of the Browns is their run defense which should help against Adrian Peterson.  The angles actually favor the Browns here so I am leaving this messy game alone.  THE PICK:  PASS

Green Bay Packers (-3) VS. CINCINNATI BENGALS:  Interesting game here as the Bengals have not lived up to the preseason hype so far this season and are a home dog in a non-divisional game which usually is a good betting trend.  However the Packers are a beast on offense and the angles favor them in some capacities.  Tough one to call but slight edge to Green Bay.  THE PICK:  Green Bay Packers (-3)

TENNESSEE TITANS (-3) VS. San Diego Chargers:  Another tough one as the Chargers are traveling east for the second week in a row which is a betting no-no.  However the Titans are still a joke at QB with the pathetic Jake Locker and Philip Rivers is locked in right now no matter who he is throwing to.  I would ride the hot arm in this game.  THE PICK:  San Diego Chargers (+3)

Houston Texans (-2.5) VS. BALTIMORE RAVENS:  Truth be told the Texans have gotten a bit lucky to be 2-0 due to some late game breaks.  They haven;t played that well through the first two games but the record speaks for itself.  The Ravens are going to be ticked off at being home underdogs only three weeks into their Super Bowl defending season.  I don't like this game one bit.  THE PICK:  PASS

MIAMI DOLPHINS (-2.5) VS. Atlanta Falcons:  Don't discount the Dolphins' 2-0 start as they are riding a great defense and also improved play at QB with Ryan Tannehill.  The Falcons hurt badly right now with injuries taking a major bite out of their offensive line and receivers leading into the game.  Miami playing with confidence and have the rush to be in Matt Ryan's face throughout this contest.  THE PICK:  Miami Dolphins (-2.5)

SEATTLE SEAHAWKS (-19) VS. Jacksonville Jaguars:  I always advise never to bet on games where the line is above 15 and that still holds true.  Late game letdowns and boredom lead to backdoor covers but the Jags are so inept I can actually consider this game as a bet.  Seattle could shut them out.  Amazing how big this line is however.  THE PICK:  Seattle Seahawks (-19)

SAN FRANCISCO (-10) VS. Indianapolis Colts:  We will see a very annoyed 49ers team coming into this one after getting destroyed by the Seahawks last week.  However the DUI bust and likely looming suspension of top pass rusher Aldon Smith is a major distraction and he will be on the bench for this one.  The Colts meanwhile feel like they stole their difference-maker in RB Trent Richardson despite the fact he will play little this week in his first game there.  I like the points given the turmoil enveloping the 49ers at this juncture.  THE PICK:  Indianapolis Colts (+10)

NEW YORK JETS (-2.5) VS. Buffalo Bills:  Sorry I just can't bet on the Jets no matter what given their awful offensive play.  They should give rookie QB E.J. Manuel fits in this one as their defense is solid but two bad teams equals no thank you.  THE PICK:  PASS

Chicago Bears (-2.5) VS. PITTSBURGH STEELERS:******THIS GAME IS ONE OF RYAN STEELE'S BETS BETS FOR THE WEEK AND IS FOR SUBSCRIBERS ONLY.******

DENVER BRONCOS (-15) VS. Oakland Raiders:  Letdown game here as the Broncos come off an emotional win over Peyton's brother Eli last week.  The Raiders have a history of playing well against the Broncos and remember top Peyton protector Ryan Clady is done for the season which will lead to some issues with the opposing pass rush.  The Raiders have enough to keep it from being a whipping.  THE PICK:  Oakland Raiders (+15)

Remember to use the BUY NOW tab on the homepage to purchase this week's picks.  Good luck.

RYAN STEELE BEST BET WINNER ON KANSAS CITY THURSDAY NIGHT GETS WEEK 3 OFF TO NICE START

By Ryan Steele

I am really starting to perfect this Best Bet on the Thursday night game bit.  For the third time in three weeks, I nailed a BEST BET pick on the Thursday night game, this time on the Kansas City Chiefs getting 3 points.  The heavy money went Philly's way as predicted since the -3 line was a sucker bet all the way in classic form.  Figuring the Eagles would rebound at home and not lose two games in a row in front of their fans after blowing one against San Diego the week before, the oddsmakers had a bomb line on their hands that would being in tons of money.  That is exactly what happened with the exception of the money they paid me for winning on the Chiefs.  Again it is all about picking apart the sucker bets and incorrect lines the oddsmakers release each week and less on the teams themselves.  My 8-3 mark proves this works.  Be sure to get in on the rest of the Week 3 picks and beyond.

RYAN STEELE MAKES IT 2 WINNING WEEKS OUT OF 2 IN THE NFL

By Ryan Steele

It was somewhat of a struggle Sunday for NFL Week 2 but we still pulled out a winning week with a 3-2 mark with my played picks.  After winning on the New York Jets (+12) versus the New England Patriots on Thursday, we split my four selections Sunday.  We took home the money on the Buffalo Bills (+3) versus the Carolina Panthers which was the most obvious mistake made by the oddsmakers this week.  Why the 0-1 Panthers who are as shaky as they get favored on the road is beyond me.  I than also cashed on the Green Bay Packers (-7) over the Washington Redskins as the latter's awful defense was no match for Aaron Rodgers and friends.  The losses were on Cleveland (+6.5) and St. Louis (+6.5) which came up short by only the half point.  However we still have won every single week in both college football (3/3) and in the NFL so really what more can you ask for?  My NFL mark is now 7-3 and more money is out there to be made.  Be sure to sign up for Week 3 using the BUY NOW tab on the homepage.

RYAN STEELE'S NFL WEEK 2 PICKS

Thursday

New York Jets (+12) OVER NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS:  WINNER!

Sunday

INDIANAPOLIS COLTS (-2.5) VS. Miami Dolphins:  This is a strange line because on paper the Colts should be about a 6.5 favorite given their vast advantage in talent but we saw last week in their struggle to beat Oakland that they also are a bit overrated.  The line is a bit of an overreaction to their close call last week and the Colts qualify for a 34-11-4 ATS home momentum angle.  THE PICK:  Indianapolis Colts (-2.5)

Carolina Panthers (-3) VS. BUFFALO BILLS:  THIS GAME IS ONE OF RYAN STEELE"S BEST BETS FOR THE WEEK AND IS FOR SUBSCRIBERS ONLY.  USE THE BUY NOW TAB ON THE HOMEPAGE TO PURCHASE.******

HOUSTON TEXANS (-9.5) VS. Tennessee Titans:  Big line with both teams coming off a win but that just shows you the utter lack of respect the betting world has for the Titans.  Quite frankly Tennessee is still a dog in my view despite their over the Steelers last week so I understand the reasoning for the 9.5.  Houston was sleepwalking through the first half of their road win against the Chargers in Week 1 before getting their act together and I can see them being more focused this time around.  Betting line is begging you to take the points off the Titans win but I don't value that victory much so I won't fall for it.  THE PICK:  Houston Texans (-9.5)

BALTIMORE RAVENS (-6.5) VS. Cleveland Browns:******THE GAME IS ONE OF RYAN STEELE"S BEST BETS FOR THE WEEK AND IS FOR SUBSCRIBERS ONLY!  USE THE BUY NOW TAB ON THE HOMEPAGE TO PURCHASE.******

PHILADELPHIA EAGLES (-7.5) VS. San Diego Chargers:  The Eagles at least for one half showed how potent the Chip Kelly offense can be and they won't meet much resistance against a horrid San Diego defense that allowed the Houston Texans to march up and down the field in blowing last week's game.  The thing is that Philip Rivers still has some talent (4 TD's in Week 1) and is capable of keeping this close.  However can also see the Eagles running them out of the building early and putting the defensive clamps down on the mistake-prone Rivers.  Trends going in both directions so I will pass.  THE PICK:  PASS

GREEN BAY PACKERS (-7) VS. Washington Redskins:********THIS GAME IS ONE OF RYAN STEELE'S BEST BETS FOR THE WEEK AND IS FOR SUBSCRIBERS ONLY.  USE THE BUY NOW TAB ON THE HOMEPAGE TO PURCHASE.******

KANSAS CITY CHIEFS (-3) VS. Dallas Cowboys:  We don't know yet how good the Chiefs are as they didn't get much of a test at all in going against the worst team in the NFL in the Jacksonville Jaguars last week.  They give the requisite 3 points to a Cowboys team who really didn't look great themselves against the Giants but who benefited from six turnovers.  Tough call here as there is value on both sides but Andy Reid has had the Cowboys' number over the years and has plenty of notes on them from playing them twice a season for the last 14 years when he was Philly's coach.  THE PICK:  Kansas City Chiefs (-3)

CHICAGO BEARS (-6) VS. Minnesota Vikings:  I am sorry the Bears should not be giving 6 points to anyone no matter who good they looked last week.  This is still an offensive that goes through long cold spells and the Vikings defense is a much better outfit than they looked last week versus Detroit.  This is a game of adjustments every week and can't see Minnesota getting run over two weeks in a row in the division.  Divisional games always bring out the best in teams when it comes to performance and for that alone the Vikings should keep it competitive throughout the game.  THE PICK:  Minnesota Vikings (+6)

ATLANTA FALCONS (-6.5) VS. St. Louis Rams:  THIS GAME IS ONE OF RYAN STEELE'S BEST BETS FOR THE WEEK AND IS FOR SUBSCRIBERS ONLY.  USE THE BUY NOW TAB ON THE HOMEPAGE TO PURCHASE.******

New Orleans Saints (-3) VS. TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS:  Lots of controversy in Tampa right now as QB Josh Freeman missed a team picture on the heels of his awful performance in Week 1 against the New York Jets.  The Saints came up with a huge win at home against the Atlanta Falcons and should not have a letdown here since this is still a divisional game.  Ordinarily a home underdog in the division is a nice betting ankle but things look like they are about to implode in Tampa so go the other way.  THE PICK:  New Orleans Saints (-3)

Detroit Lions (-1.5) VS. ARIZONA CARDINALS:  The Cards continue to lose games they should win such as last week's late fade versus the St. Louis Rams.  The Lions meanwhile steamrolled the Minnesota Vikings and could be a tad overconfident going out on the road.   Perfect trap game scenario as Carson Palmer has this Cardinals offense in high gear from a passing perspective.  The Lions defense is nothing to write home about either so the points looking nice in a solid bounceback on the home club.  THE PICK:  Arizona Cardinals (+1.5)

Denver Broncos (-4.5) VS. NEW YORK GIANTS:  There is no doubt Peyton Manning was a monster in Week 1 with 7 touchdown passes agianst the Baltimore Ravens.  However the line is a bit inflated as the Giants are a much better team than they were last week against Dallas.  In fact despite five turnovers the Giants were in position to take the lead with 2 minutes to go before the last turnover finished them for good.  The Giants are a nice bet getting points as a home underdog here as Eli Manning is surely motivated to beat his brother for the first time in his career.  THE PICK:  New York Giants (+4.5)

OAKLAND RAIDERS (-5.5) VS. Jacksonville Jaguars:  Sorry I really want nothing to do with this slopfest in waiting.  I never like to bet in a game with two bad teams and that certainly applies here.  Let it go.  THE PICK:  PASS

SEATTLE SEAHAWKS (-3) VS. San Francisco 49ers:  What a great game this is going to be.  The 49ers looked like the best team in football last week in beating the Green Bay Packers while the Seahawks typically struggled on the road in the 1:00 slot.  They are a much more potent team at home as the home crowd will be going delirious in this one.  Tough call either way since both teams are among the best in the game and with no clear angle going in either direction, embrace the points.  THE PICK:  San Francisco 49ers (+3)

CINCINNATI BENGALS (-6.5) VS. Pittsburgh Steelers:  I really don't know what to make of either of these two as they both looked so shaky and downright miserable at times in losing their respective openers.  The Bengals have the clear edge in talent but 6.5 is asking a lot versus a proud Pittsburgh team looking for a rebound.  THE PICK:  Pittsburgh Steelers (+6.5)

RYAN STEELE THURSDAY NIGHT WINNER ON NEW YORK JETS TO GET WEEK 2 OFF TO WINNING START

By Ryan Steele

That's right.  Absolutely had it dead to right last night in taking the points (+12) with the New York Jets against the overrated New England Patriots.  I saw this game a mile away which I hinted at the other day when I said there were already some outrageous lines that the oddmakers screwed up on.  This was a classic as the Las Vegas minds foolishly gave 12 big points to another team despite the fact the Patriot offense was in shambles and was going against a very stout and underrated Jets defense.  After the Pats put up ten quick points early on, Rex Ryan dialed up the pressure as they gave up only a meaningless field goal.  Thus 12 points was a gift and gets Week 2 off to a winning start.  My season NFL record is a stellar 5-1 with four more big best ready to go for the weekend.  Use the BUY NOW tab on the homepage to purchase the picks.

Hey gang.  Back again with more potentially big winners for NFL Week 2.  We went 4-1 in Week 1 as we started off giving the spread a nice whipping.  Thursday night's game between the New England Patriots giving 12.5 to the New York Jets is a BEST BET that can be accessed by purchasing using the BUY NOW tab on the homepage.  The oddsmakers royally screwed up this line and a prime betting opportunity presents itself.  As far as the rest of the week is concerned, free leans and the rest of the BEST BET package will be available Friday.

RYAN STEELE GOES 4-1 FOR NFL WEEK 1 IN A SPREAD SMASHDOWN

What a way to start.  Hope for those of you who purchased the NFL WEEK 1 picks that you bet heavy because if you did than you are swimming in dough like I am this morning.  After winning easy with the Denver Broncos (-7.5) for the Thursday night openers, I followed that up by going 3-1 with Sunday's plays.  Let's take a look.

WINNERS

Kansas City Chiefs (-4) over Jacksonville Jaguars:  Not sure what the oddsmakers were thinking in having this spread so damn low.  This was a license to steal having Andy Reid in his first game back going up against the worst team in the NFL.  Easy easy money.

Oakland Raiders (+9.5) over Indianapolis Colts:  Go ahead and try to find another handicapper who took woeful Oakland.  I did and I won easy.  The Colts defense is terrible and I banked on a running QB giving them problems.  Over 100 rushing yards later by Terrell Pryor and a win is in the bank.

Detroit Lions (-5) over Minnesota Vikings:  The Lions offense was shockingly inept at times last season but they didn't allow the Vikings to think about winning on their turf like they did last season.

LOSSES

Chicago Bears (-3.5) VS. Cincinnati Bengals:  I am fair here in that the line popped to 3.5 right before the game.  Most got it at 3 however which was a push.  So in actuality I had a 3-0-1 week for many but I am transparent when it comes to his for legitimacy purposes.

So there you have it.  Three winning weeks out of 3 when you combine college football and the NFL.  Don't waste any time signing up NFL week 2 or college football Week 3.  Already got some nice games lined up.  Get going.

TWO WINNING WEEKS OUT OF 2 FOR RYAN STEELE IN COLLEGE FOOTBALL

By Ryan Steele

Yup that's right.  Made it two winning weeks out of two after going 7-5 with my prime college football picks Thursday-Saturday.  That brings my two week total to 9-5 as the winning has commenced.  Let's take a look at how Week 2 went.

WINNERS

-OHIO STATE (-28):  Was a little too close for comfort with Ohio State (-28) versus San Diego State but that was only because of the injury to QB Braxton Miller.  Still Ohio State covered the number by 7 giving us the win!

-BOSTON COLLEGE (-3):  B.C. took care of business as a BEST BET winner over Wake Forest by 14.  Easy win there as the line was ridiculous.

-NORTHWESTERN (-17):  Northwestern covered the number against an overrated Syracuse team by 21.  Solid win there.

-SOUTH FLORIDA (+23):  Took guts to take South Florida off a loss to McNeese State but you have to have no fear when value presents itself.  Find someone else who won on this.  You won't find it anywhere.

-WEST VIRGINIA (+21):  Couldn't believe West Virginia was getting 21 against a good but flawed Oklahoma team.  Took two seconds to jump on this easy winner.

-OHIO (-4.5):  Just got under the line by winning by six but Ohio should have actually destroyed North Texas.  Still we will take it.

-Colorado State (+10.5):  Was a gut feeling here against a Tulsa team I don't respect.  Winner!

LOSSES

-TEMPLE (+3):  Dumb, dumb, and dumb.  Will never look at Temple again this season.

-MISSOURI (-17):  Close but not cigar.

-OREGON STATE (-27):  Sigh!

-USC (-15.5):  Damn Lane Kiffin sucks.

-IDAHO (+28):  Still had a winning week.

So overall we are now 9-5 going in to Week 3 and looking for more.  Be sure to get on board for Week 3 picks which will be delivered via e-mail towards the weekend.
